Bethany and her family has touched my heart a few years ago when I first got to photograph their family. Bethany was diagnosed with classic autism just before her 3rd birthday. Some of you that are familiar with autism, might know how difficult eye contact is. With special needs children, you can’t really plan a session. You can indirectly guide them, but you never know if it will work. You get to take a back seat and just go with the flow and see what happens and then this magic happened during our session.
